Carly Nabinger is a dual degree student at Duke and Duke Kunshan University studying Molecular Bioscience with a focus on Cell and Molecular Biology. Her research experience spans plant-microbe interactions, fungal ecology, environmental toxicology, cancer biology, and molecular signaling.
She has contributed to research on mycorrhizal fungal communities and molecular pathways linking environmental exposures to disease. She also brings experience in scientific communication, leadership, and interdisciplinary environmental research. She hopes to address public health challenges using research at the intersection of plant biotechnology, environmental health, and sustainable food systems.
