Yishu Wang is a current sophomore at Duke Kunshan University majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology. His academic interests are driven by his desire to translate biotechnology into real-world benefits. Interdisciplinary courses in DKU and the internship experience have built his essential knowledge and inspired him to further dive into the molecular mechanism of organisms.
Yishu’s current research interests center on the SRP genes and the lipid droplet (LD) dynamics during viral infection. He also has a keen interest in utilizing microalgae for bioelectricity generation. He seeks to integrate biological theories with practical application, contributing to human health and sustainable development.
