CReAtE Lab Member Shaban Muhammad Wins Best Poster Award at AKC 2024

Shaban Muhammad, was awarded Best Poster in Basic Science at the 12th Asia-Korea Conference (AKC 2024) in Shanghai on November 16th, 2024. His work, conducted under the advisorship of Professor Ferdinand Kappes and supervision of Yewei Liu, was part of the DKU Summer Research Scholars (SRS) Program and explored the role of the DEK gene in bone cancer cells using CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing technology.

The event also marked a moment of recognition for CReAtE Lab, as Professor Eunyu Kim received the prestigious Overseas Scientist of the Year Award with a presidential commendation.
