CReAtE Lab Welcomes Students at DKU Lab Open Day 2026

CReAtE Lab participated in DKU Lab Open Day 2026 on September 11, welcoming students interested in discovering research opportunities and learning more about ongoing scientific work at Duke Kunshan University.
During the event, students had the opportunity to meet members of the CReAtE Lab, explore current research projects, and learn more about undergraduate research opportunities within the lab.
CReAtE Lab introduced visitors to its research in plant stress responses, microalgae and biophotovoltaics, cellular compartments and lipid droplets, and molecular biology and genetic tools. Through these areas, the lab investigates how plants and microalgae respond to environmental stress and explores sustainable approaches to climate-resilient agriculture and renewable energy.
The Open Day provided an opportunity to connect with students from across DKU, share the lab’s ongoing work, and introduce students to the research environment and opportunities available at CReAtE Lab.
We thank everyone who visited and spent time learning about our research!
