Professor Eunyu Kim’s CReAtE (Climate-Resilient Agricultural Engineering) Lab was launched at Duke Kunshan University in July 2022 with the goal of enhancing plant resilience and developing better crops to withstand environmental stresses caused by climate change. Our research focuses on understanding how plants cope with stress conditions, including heat, drought, and disease, by studying the dynamics of cellular compartments such as stress granules and lipid droplets. Through our work, we aim to contribute to the development of sustainable agriculture and address the challenges posed by climate change.
